Zoe Ingram talks being GOOD {ENOUGH}.

Today's post is from the AMAZING Zoe Ingram! I met Zoe in an licensing class called MATS last year, and have watched her BLOOM before my eyes! I'm super proud of her, and so happy to have her on my blog today!

"I made this illustration as a reminder to myself as an adult but it’s definitely something I would have told myself as a teen or even as a younger child and also it's something that I will always tell my girls and anyone else who struggles with this. Don't let anyone tell you or make you feel that you're not good enough. You ARE good enough."

Ahhh soo true!

Until tomorrow...
Don't LOSE Hope!

Mummies, DRY Humor and silly doodles, oh my!

Mike Lowery is super awesome, punny, creative illustrator!

Never have i found another illustrator who seems to have the same ridiculous mind as me, and when i found Mike's work last year i was super stoked.

The best part?

When i took Lilla Roger's "Make Art That Sells" class a couple months ago, Mike was one of the 1st artists that was interviewed. And it was HILARIOUS. I wish i could share it with you! [...but alas i can not]

It's such a blessing to find artists who have similarities to your work because it gives you HOPE

And now i have a little more hope that one day, my time will come, and i'll be able to truly say, "oh my job? i'm an illustrator" and mean it 100%.

Have a creative day friends!!

Motivational Monday....Tuesday....Wednesday!!

I had The BEST morning MONDAY this week!

I'm trying SO HARD to publish blog posts on time, and the funny part is that i finished Thursdays post on Monday, but not Monday's post!

Anyways... i spent about 4 hours at my FAVORITE cafe, drinking way TOO MUCH tea, and drawing/brain storming for Lilla's class! It was the perfect ME day!

Today also ties in PERFECTLY with last week's 'Declaration Of Youtopic; Self Care!

Along with days like this morning i decided i really need to

* color more silly doodles, often!
* Make sure to see friends more.
* Paint my nails once a week.
[lets see if THAT actually happens!]

Well now that I'm posting this on Wednesday, i guess you'll get two for the price of one tomorrow! :D
LUCKY YOU!

Happy Fourth of July friends!

PS: That whole wheat apple muffin was pretty yummy!

Life...or something like it...

Oh man... this week has been a crazy whirlwind of wedding 'crap'. For the pasts few days, Boy and I have been making invites like a CRAZY person!

I've also been working as best as i can on Lilla Roger's Make Art That Sells class that I'm taking. [Which is how i was inspired to do the little house pattern above...] I can't wait to order some fabric of it from Spoon Flower!

This is another pattern i made for the class. I ended up changing it around some for the class assignment, but i still think it came out pretty cute.

Are you doing any fun projects this week? I'd love to hear about them! :)

Happy Tuesday friends!

Pyrex + Mushrooms = HAPPY doodles!

These are some of the doodles i've been working on the last two days for #MakeArtThatSells; the class I'm taking. :D

I've never really drawn mushrooms much nor any pyrex containers before, so this has been pretty fun. I think I'm going to try watercoloring some of them next!

Have you worked on any fun projects today?
