Couting the Crows.

Oh my!! I went to a Counting Crow concert a couple weeks ago and it was Fan-freaking-tastic!! All three bands were on stage, all playing each other's songs, for large majority of the concert. Twas incredible! I've never seen any concert where there were like, 20 people on stage almost the whole time.

Counting Crows Concert

They didn't break the concert up into three sections like most concerts I've been to. Instead, they all just kind of traded drummers every couple songs and sometimes it was just the one band at a time, and sometimes random members from the other bands were singing along as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMkPA6HZoHQ <- Phooey! I wanted to include this video. It's one of the only "High Life" versions i approve, but i can't seem to get the actual video in my blog. Blasphemy!

If you ever have the option of seeing them, even if you never heard them before [like moi] go see them! At least on this tour!! It was a wonderful experience. :)

Time to work...on myself.

Photo Fun.

So, it's been a year and a half since I've had to only think about myself. I know it's one of my problems i have. I don't do enough things for myself alone, and honestly, I'm not good at it. I'm not even sure what i enjoy these days? So below is a list of things i want to do, for myself, without relying on anyone else. (or at least not on a man)

1) Learn to really enjoy life.
2) Work on projects for my online class!!
3) Sign up for a cooking class at Wholefoods.
4) Play my guitar, get inspired, write a song!
5) Figure out things that make me happy. Soon!
6) See Friends. At least twice a week. No excuses.
7) Find recipes that inspire me, and cook more!
8) Take more pictures of these i love. Food and etc.
9) Build a light box.
10) Successfully set up for my show this weekend. (I know this seems easy, but really, Riley set up EVERYTHING. The tent, table, display, so it's imperative, obviously, that i can do this myself. This Saturday. Ha.

I'm sure there are plenty more. But, this is enough to start on. By the end of the month, i'll let you know what i actually succeeded doing. :)

HOLY COW!

It has been quite a while since i blogged. Over a month!! Ridiculous! April came and went and was extremely crazy, very tiring, and quite saddening. Alas, May is bringing a few more brighter days, A LOT of processing, while strengthening relationships, and giving me a whole new way of thinking. The one thing i've learned the most...

Take everyday, live everyday and enjoy everyday.

I'm trying to live with this mantra. Although, it's quite difficult for me. My brain goes at least two miles a minute at all time. I'm trying to learn what i'm so good at telling others. "Just breath".

Have you been breathing?? I sure hope so!!
