How crazy that a whole week has went by since my last post... weeks are FLYING BY!

Crazypants!

You know when you have your days ALLLLL planned out, and then you hear of some really neato other opportunities and you say 'heck! lets do those things instead?' well the doodle above is EXACTLY that! 

One of my friends from MATS1 posted a link about a painting a mural... i know i haven't mentioned this but I want to paint one in New York soooo badly! So i quickly put together the one above and i'm crossing my fingers!

Have there been any opportunities you'd really like to do? 

SEARCH THEM! 

Write it all out! 

Or just keep your eyes peeled!! 

It's so exciting to finally DO SOMETHING you've been wanting to do for so long!

Everything takes time...

I'm struggling with this HARDCORE this week!!

 There are so many thoughts in my head, and i always feel so far behind. I keep needing to REMIND myself OVER AND OVER that  

everything  

takes  

time. 

We all rush around hoping to accomplish EVERYTHING right NOW! It's such a facade... and we end up missing SO MANY important things because of our business! 

  As i go into a busy but EXCITING weekend, this is the PERFECT watercolor doodle to end the work week with! Hope you think so too!

Motivational Monday!

This past week has been pretty busy indeed!

I had another demo at Chelsea Market Baskets this past Saturday and it went AMAZINGLY well! 

I sold {{58}}} cards in about three hours. :)

I'm so stoked about that!  

In addition, I've been working a bunch on a custom order for a ship in Michigan, so soon you'll see Nightly Doodles in THREE states! whoo!! These last few weeks have been crazy and exciting!!

Exciting News! 

...and an apology for my lack of blog posts, but goodness it's been SO busy since Chelsea Market ended! I've been selling at the Artist and Fleas in Brooklyn for the past two weekends, making new merch for the lovely Brooklyn folk. [more about that later]

AND... My work is NOW sold at Chelsea Market Baskets in NYC!!!!

I've been working my little tushy off preparing line sheets, and after a few persistent weeks, they placed an order! 

I'm so VERY excited! I love CMB. I think they have amazing merchandise and a friendly staff. Above and below are some of the STELLAR cards they will be selling there!

 

They picked up my whole line of "Hello NY" cards you see above. The boy actually came up with the idea, along with lots of the new prints i offer too!! 

[it's such a blessing to have a creative friend around all the time!]

 

 Lastly but NOT lease, they picked up my BRAND NEW card [above] i actually designed JUST to show them!

Because of this adventure, i have almost 20 different NYC inspired greeting cards. Now... to figure out if i should list them online?
