This world is very hard place to be. With buzzes all around us telling us we're just not good enough, we could all use more encouragement!
To remedy this, I wrote a super honest, encouraging, vibrant book with the intent to help others [especially teens!] feel less alone in this world. By using my story, and lots of colorful illustrations, I want others to realize they aren't alone on those dark, lowest of low days.
While having a rough "I'm not enough" day in early 2013 I created the very first page of this book.
This 6x9 book is the perfect size to pop into your bag while you're on the go, and 90 full color pages filled with silly, encouraging, very honest stories and illustrations! Body Image, Depression, Eating Disorders, and Ambition are just some of the topics discussed in the book.
Ultimately, my goal was to make the book I wish I had when I was younger: Something easy to read and relate to. Something that's visually stimulating. Something raw and honest and not all sunshine and butterflies.
Right before the first books were printed, I had the PLEASURE of showing the book to my 92 year old best friend.
